  • A SIM card is a small physical card that we mail to you that you insert into your phone. It ties your phone with your phone number and account information. An eSIM is the electronic version and can be quickly activated right after you purchase your plan if you have a compatible phone.

Physical SIMs are slowly being replaced with eSIM technology and most newer phones now support one or more eSIM’s.

For more information about the difference and the capabilities of the different SIMs, please check out our eSIM or Physical SIM page.

  • There are no problems with using different carriers for your mobile phone and your tablet, so check that box and start saving and earning today. However, some issues do occur when using different carriers for your mobile phone and smartwatch and this is typically not recommended.

  • For a Laptop:

Check the specifications: If you still have the box or paperwork that came with your laptop, look for terms like "LTE," "5G," "Cellular," or "WWAN" (Wireless Wide Area Network). These indicate cellular connectivity.

Look for a SIM card slot: Check if your laptop has a slot for a SIM card. You can usually find it on the sides or under a flap. If there's a slot, it’s likely that your laptop can support cellular networks.

Network settings: On Windows or macOS, go to the network settings. If you have a cellular option, you should see it listed there.

    For a Tablet:

Check the model: Tablets with cellular capabilities are often labeled with “Wi-Fi + Cellular” on the box or in the model’s name. For example, an iPad Pro might be available as either "Wi-Fi" or "Wi-Fi + Cellular."

SIM card slot: Like a laptop, tablets with cellular support usually have a SIM card slot. It’s often on the side of the device.

Settings check: On your tablet, go to the settings and check the “Cellular” or “Mobile Data” section. If it’s available, it should show whether you can connect to a cellular network.
