A SIM card is a small physical card that we mail to you that you insert into your phone. It ties your phone with your phone number and account information. An eSIM is the electronic version and can be quickly activated right after you purchase your plan if you have a compatible phone.
Physical SIMs are slowly being replaced with eSIM technology and most newer phones now support one or more eSIM’s.

Some phone support both a physical SIM and an eSIM. If your phone supports both, then switching is easy. Check your phone and then follow the easy steps.

Switching is relatively easy to do, but detailed steps depend on the phone.
Go to the Settings app on your phone.
Choose Connections and then SIM manager
Choose SIM and then Convert to eSIM
Click on Convert eSIM
The eSIM profile will then be downloaded which can take up to 5 minutes. Once downloaded, choose OK.

Look for a SIM card slot: Check if your laptop has a slot for a SIM card. You can usually find it on the sides or under a flap. If there's a slot, it’s likely that your laptop can support cellular networks.
Network settings: On Windows or macOS, go to the network settings. If you have a cellular option, you should see it listed there.
For a Tablet:
